Youth Outreach

A new service offered at Pathways. It seeks to reach youth between the ages 13-24 to assist them in accessing services that can be of support to any aspect of their lives. The Youth Street Outreach Worker goes into the communities of York Region in search of youth who are not yet connected to Pathways programs and other social and community services across the Region. The goal is to build relationships and refer them to services to meet their needs.

Additionally, you can find our Youth Street Outreach Worker every Monday from 3pm-7pm at the Maple Community Centre in Vaughan.

 Community Resource Services

Home Base understands the importance of creating a One-Stop-Shop for youth. Therefore, the Centre strives to provide all the services desired by our clients or developing partnerships with other community organizations of our youth to meet their needs. Most often these services tend to be around the identification clinics, family counselling, legal services and Ontario Works programs. The Centre has developed great working relationships with other youth-serving agencies that work in tandem at meeting our clients’ needs.

  • Our Goal

    Pathways has two goals:

To inspire and empower young people in crisis to turn their lives around and

To inspire and empower parents to get their preschoolers off to a great start in life.
