Many of the youth that come to Pathways Home Base Drop-In Centre are seeking employment or want to return to school. Through our Base 4 Success Employment Program, Case Managers are able to meet with youth to assess their needs and provide them with options.

We offer case management supports to youth who are 15-30 years old, out of school, out of work, and who have not been on EI in the past 5 years (youth who are assessed but do not meet the criteria to be case managed will be referred to a service that will meet their needs).  Our range of services include assisting youth to return to school, access training opportunities, and return to work by helping with things such as resume and cover letter writing, completing job applications, interview skills, mock interviews, job search, career decision-making, and employment maintenance.

We have an In-house Employment Case Manager and 2 Outreach Employment Case Managers, covering the south and north part of the region.  We also visit various community partner locations throughout the York Region to meet the youth where they are at.
