Message from our Director of Programs

Having worked with Pathways in several different capacities over the years, and as an ambassador of the mission for longer still, I’m excited to return to Pathways in the role of Director of Programs.  I’m proud of the dynamic, innovative and vital programs provided throughout the Region by dedicated Pathways staff and volunteers.  I am also extremely grateful to our community partners and funders who are as passionate about our community as we are.

Pathways programs are adaptable and holistic.  We deliver innovative programs and services that meet clients where they are at.  Getting youth off the streets and providing families with the supports they need, is what makes this job so rewarding.  When I think about some of the amazing and resilient people we work with here at Pathways I am truly inspired.

Bonnie Harkness, Director of Programs:

Bonnie has a 10 year history with Pathways, working in a variety of roles, and therefore has a wealth of knowledge about Pathways programs and services. In other positions such as Executive Director of the United Way of Ajax and Big Brothers and Sisters of Ajax-Pickering, Bonnie was involved with raising funds under tight deadlines, as well as providing leadership to large staff teams. She brings to the team her extensive experience, as well as a passion and committment to helping children, youth and families in our community.
